DIPLOMATE OF THE AMERICAN BOARD OF ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY

Dr. Bruksch was raised in the Chicagoland area. He attended Northwestern University and was two-time All-Big Ten shortstop for the baseball team prior to receiving his dental and oral surgical training at University of Illinois at Chicago and University of Minnesota.

He is Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and past president of the Illinois Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ISOMS). For many years, Dr. Bruksch was Chairman of the ISOMS Anesthesia Committee, overseeing anesthesia safety protocols in oral and maxillofacial surgical offices throughout the state.

He is on staff at several area hospitals including:

  • Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital
  • Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital
  • Aurora Medical Center in Burlington
  • Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn

Dr. Bruksch is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

He and his wife, Jeanne, raised their four adult children in Crystal Lake. Dr. Bruksch enjoys all outdoor activities, but is particularly active in men’s senior baseball leagues.
